Ultram ER Voluntary Recall

PriCara, a division of Ortho-McNeil-Janssen Pharmaceuticals, is voluntarily recalling several lot numbers of Ultram ER (tramadol extended release) 100 mg tablets. These tablets are manufactured by Biovail. The recalled tablets may release the active drug at a faster rate than intended. PriCara assures that the medication being recalled does not affect patient health or safety. The affected lot numbers are listed below.
P07L026, P08C040, P08E024, P07L027
P08E025, P08E026, P08A039, 08D010P
08D012P, P08B043, P08E055, P08E056
P08A040, P08F025, P08A041, P08A042
Pharmacies should check their inventory for the affected lot numbers, and return the recalled product. For assistance on product return contact Stericycle at 1-888-202-5865.
