Salary & Benefits

Pharmacy practice residents are classified as regular, full-time employees of the University of Utah Hospitals and Clinics.

• Salary is approximately $43,000 for first year residents and $55,000 for second year/specialty residents
• The benefits package includes: health, dental, and life insurance, and staff discounts.
• Residents are allowed 10 days of vacation leave, 2 personal preference days, and 10 holidays.
• Depending on the residency program, registration is paid for the APha Annual Meeting or ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting and to the Western States Resident's Conference held in Monterey, California.
