Drug Information Staff


Erin Fox

Erin Fox, PharmD, FASHP
Director, Drug Information Service

Dr. Fox completed a Drug Information Specialty Residency after graduating from the University of Utah College of Pharmacy in 1999. She serves as the residency program director for the PGY2 Drug Information Residency. Areas of interest include drug shortage management, drug information, evidence based medicine, and internal medicine.


Chris Beckwith

Chris Beckwith, PharmD
Clinical Coordinator

Dr. Beckwith completed a General Hospital Residency in 1992 and a Drug Information Specialty Residency at the University Hospital in 1993. She enjoys being a Drug Information Specialist and clinical coordinator. Hematology-oncology is her specialty area.

Away from the office, Chris likes to hike, enjoy fine food and wine, and practice yoga. She also runs Camp Hobé, a nonprofit summer camp for children with cancer and their siblings. She is married with a grown stepdaughter and two exuberant small poodles. Her favorite movies are The Princess Bride and Kung Fu Hustle. For TV, she prefers offbeat shows, like Fargo, Derek, or Orphan Black, although Grey’s Anatomy is a guilty pleasure.


Jane Chandramouli

Jane Chandramouli, PharmD
Drug Information Specialist

Jane completed her Doctor of Pharmacy (1994) at Idaho State University and her Pharmacy Practice Residency (1995) at University of Iowa. She enjoys working part-time as a Drug Information Specialist and works with the Drug Shortages team.

In her free-time, she is busy with her 3 children, her husband, her Cavapoo puppy, and spends a lot of time at soccer games. She enjoys playing tennis and being involved in philanthropic work.


Celeste Conlin

Celeste Conlin
Administrative Assistant

Celeste is the center's administrative assistant. She is the master of keys, supplies, technical support, drug cost reports, etc. She earned a Bachelors of Fine Art from the University of Utah and is soon to become a certified pharmacy technician.

Celeste enjoys crafts, gardening, spending time with her two sons, their families, and husband.


Megan Dryer

Megan Dryer, PharmD
Drug Information Specialist

Megan completed her Doctor of Pharmacy (2008) and Pharmacy Practice residency (2009) at the University of Utah. She enjoys working as a Drug Information Specialist and being part of the Drug Info team.

Megan enjoys being with family and friends, traveling, hiking, spending weekends at Bear Lake, playing cards, knitting, and reading.


Cliff Feddema

Cliff Feddema
Project Manager

Mr. Feddema is the DIS's project manager and administrative technician. He maintains order and sanity in the Center. He serves as the Department of Pharmacy Services' Webmaster.

Cliff likes to ride his motorcycle, cook, listen to music, enjoy the occasional glass of wine, and go camping. On really great days he combines them all.


Kristy Jefferies

Kristy Jefferies, PharmD
Drug Information Specialist

Kristy completed her Doctor of Pharmacy degree (2003) and Pharmacy Practice Residency (2004) at the University of Utah. She then went on to work as the clinical pharmacist for the neurology clinics at the University of Utah until 2011. She is excited to now be a part of the Drug Information team.

In her spare time Kristy enjoys downhill skiing, wheel-thrown pottery, trying out new restaurants, and spending time with her husband and 2 young children.


Leslie Jensen

Leslie Jensen, PharmD
Drug Information Specialist

Leslie completed her Bachelor of Pharmacy degree (2003), Doctor of Pharmacy degree (2006), and Pharmacy Practice residency (2007) at the University of Utah. She currently works part-time at Drug Information Service on the Drug Shortage Team.

In her spare time, Leslie enjoys outdoor activities including biking, hiking, or walking to the park with her daughters. She also enjoys traveling, trying new recipes, and spending time with family and friends.


Kiersten Johnston

Kiersten Johnston, PharmD
Drug Information Specialist

Kiersten is a 2012 graduate of the University of Utah College of Pharmacy. She completed her PGY1 Pharmacy Practice residency (2013) and PGY2 Drug Information Specialty residency (2014) at the University of Utah. She is thrilled to work with the fabulous staff at the Drug Information Service.

When not involved in pharmacy-related activities, Kiersten enjoys spending time with her family, hiking in the Wasatch Mountains, going to concerts, and caring for the family beehive.


Elyse MacDonald

Elyse MacDonald, PharmD, MS, BCPS
Drug Information Specialist

Prior to pharmacy school, Elyse was an analytical chemist and clinical supplies project leader for the pharmaceutical industry. Elyse graduated from Creighton University School of Pharmacy in 2008. She completed her Pharmacy Practice Residency at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center in 2009, and completed her Drug Information Specialty Residency at the University of Utah Drug Information Service in 2010. After completing her PGY2 residency, she worked for Intermountain Healthcare in drug information and medication safety. She rejoined the center in the Summer of 2012, and is thrilled to be back at the University of Utah Drug Information Service.

Elyse enjoys spending time with her family and friends, working out, watching baseball, traveling, and going for hikes with her dog, Dakotah.


Dave Peterson

Dave Peterson, PharmD
Drug Information Specialist

Dr. Peterson graduated from pharmacy school in 2001 and completed a Drug Information Residency at the University of Utah in 2002. He earned Advanced Certification from the American Medical Writers Association (AMWA) in 2011.

Dave (aka "Blind Dog") is the Center's blues guitarist. If he ever doesn't show up for work, you can bet he hit the road looking for the crossroads. He is currently working to add blues harmonica to his musical repertoire. Other distractions include scuba diving, wheelin’ in his Jeep Rubicon, and coaching Wasatch Roller Derby. He claims to be Utah’s biggest Detroit Red Wings Fan.


Michelle Wheeler

Michelle Wheeler, PharmD
Drug Information Specialist

Dr. Wheeler completed her training at UC San Francisco at the School of Pharmacy including a Pharmacy Practice Residency in 1994 and PGY2 residency in pharmacokinetics in 1995.
She came to work at the University Hospital in 1995 in a combined position with the Drug Information Center and Inpatient Pharmacy. She then took on a position as an Inpatient Anticoagulation Pharmacist in 2002 for several years, but has returned to a full time position at the Drug Information Center with a special interest in drug shortages.

Michelle enjoys spending time with her family and friends. This includes wine tasting dinners with her friends, watching Game of Thrones and Walking Dead marathons with her family, and traveling around the globe with anyone willing.
