Nefazodone 50 mg, 100 mg, 150 mg, 200 mg, and 250 mg Tablets Recall (Ivax Pharmaceuticals)

All lots of nefazodone tablets manufactured by Ivax Pharmaceuticals (formerly Zenith Goldline) have been recalled in all product strengths (50, 100, 150, 200, and 250 mg) and package sizes. Ivax recalled the product because the product may not meet dissolution requirements throughout the expiration date.
Pharmacies should check their inventory for nefazodone tablets manufactured by Ivax. Product should be quarantined and returned to their wholesaler using the return form on the link below. There are no safety concerns with the recalled product and there is no need to contact patients who may have received the recalled product.
