NuVision Pharmacy Recalls Lyophilized HcG and Sermorelin/GHRH6 Injectables
April 18, 2013
NuVision Pharmacy issued a nationwide recall of all unexpired lots of their lyophilized Sermorelin-GHRH-6 and HcG-5,000 unit injectable products. The recall is based on concerns that arose regarding product sterility and quality control after observing clean room personnel and aseptic technique. If the quality and sterility of a compounded product is compromised, patients could develop serious and potentially life-threatening infections. NuVision Pharmacy has had no reports of illness or injury attributed to the recalled products.
Discontinue use of all products and return them to NuVision Pharmacy. For more information, contact NuVision Pharmacy by phone (800-914-7435) or by email (firstname.lastname@example.org). Consumers with concerns about these products should contact their healthcare provider.
