Dulcolax Brand Products - not all formulations contain bisacodyl

Dulcolax brand name products may contain active ingredients other than bisacodyl. Various Dulcolax preparations are available, some of which contain docusate only. Instruct patients to purchase a product with the appropriate active ingredient rather than advising patients to purchase the brand name, Dulcolax. Bowel preparation instructions may need revision to specify the appropriate active ingredient.
