NC Solution, and other Products by General Therapeutics Corp. Seized

FDA announced the seizure of products manufactured by General Therapeutics Corp. of St. Louis, Missouri. Over $300,000 worth of product was confiscated, including the antifungal product NC Solution. Dietary supplements, drugs for human or animal use, and ingredients used to make the products were seized due to the grossly unsanitary conditions under which the products were being manufactured. Some drugs marketed by the company also lacked FDA approval, including NC Solution. Inform patients to consult their healthcare provider about discontinuing the use of the products and to report side effects they suspect are related to product usage.
