Infant Formula by Gentlease Recalled

Mead Johnson recalled Gentlease powdered infant formula lot number BMJ19 (expires July 1, 2007). This batch of Gentlease contains metal particles as large as 2.7 millimeters. No adverse events have been reported, however there could be serious respiratory consequences if an infant inhaled the product. Approximately 41,464 cans were distributed starting December 16, 2005.
