Erectile Dysfunction Drugs and Vision Loss
July 12, 2005
There are a few post-marketing case reports of vision loss after using sildenafil (Viagra), tadalafil (Cialis), and vardenafil (Levitra). Patients should be advised to discontinue use and contact their physician if they experience any vision loss during therapy with sildenafil, tadalafil, or vardenafil. Patients at risk for vision loss should not receive therapy with these drugs. The product labeling for these drugs have been modified to include this information.
